Pull-a-Palooza!

Concord Land Conservation Trust has been working to remove invasive water chestnut from the Sudbury River for over 20 years. This summer, we’ve teamed up with Concord’s Conantum community to run weekly removal efforts in the stretch of river between Fairhaven Bay and Heath’s Bridge (Sudbury Road).

Now, we’re inviting you to help give these efforts an extra boost during a special pull event!

When?
Wednesday, July 23, 2025
9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Where?
We are pulling water chestnut from the Sudbury River between Fairhaven Bay and Heath’s Bridge (Sudbury Road). Whether arriving by boat or car, head to 313 Heath’s Bridge Rd. If you’re driving, park to the side of the road near the water chestnut sign and follow the flags down to the river. Boats can be carried from the road to the river.

What?
As a thank-you for your time and hard work, we’ll provide tasty refreshments, and each participant will receive a free native plant grown from local seed by the Land Trust’s Manager of Land Stewardship, Alexi — a small gift for helping to make a big impact!

Who?
You! All are welcome to participate.
