1:00* – 3:30 pm
Newbury Field, Concord
*Arrive early to allow time for parking and to walk from the parking area to the meeting location; approximately 15 minutes.
Free. Member event. RSVP not yet open.
This event will take place rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and wear sturdy footwear.
The business meeting and serving of refreshments will take place under a tent. Umbrellas are encouraged if it rains.
Parking will be available in the field at Chamberlin Woods off Lowell Road. Carpooling is encouraged. Walk from Chamberlin Woods about 1/2 mile to the rock outcrop (“Picnic Rock”) in Newbury Field, and meet under the tent. The walk includes crossing bog board bridges, uneven terrain, and a modest uphill section toward the end. If you will need assistance with circumventing the bog board bridges, please contact the Land Trust office in advance.
Meeting Program
Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of this past year, review the Land Trust’s financial performance, and elect trustees. Following the business portion of the meeting, trustees will lead a member walk (more details to come). We will end with homemade treats prepared by trustees — a tradition we always look forward to! And if you missed receiving your Land Trust mug at last year’s meeting, don’t worry, we’ll have extras on hand!
